10 Tsinghua SEM professors make Elsevier's 2024 list of 'Highly Cited Chinese Researchers'

On March 25, Elsevier released its 2024 list of "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers," including 6,388 scholars from 547 universities, enterprises, and research institutions. The list features 10 professors from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University.

Public Management

Cao Jing, Associate Professor from the Department of Economics

Management Science and Engineering

Chen Jian, Professor from the Department of Management Science and Engineering

Chen Jin, Professor from the Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy

Business Administration

Chen Yubo, Professor from the Department of Marketing

Hu Jia, Professor from the Department of Leadership and Organization Management

Li Ning, Professor from the Department of Leadership and Organization Management

Li Xibao, Associate Professor from the Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy

Theoretical Economics

Qian Yingyi, Distinguished Professor of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Tsinghua University

Su Liangjun, Professor from the Department of Economics

First launched in 2015, Elsevier's "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list has been released annually for 11 years as of 2025. The ranking is based on a statistical analysis of Scopus, a leading global database of citations and indices, and evaluates the research performance of Chinese scholars. The list has garnered significant attention from both domestic and international media and academics. This year's edition covers 84 first-level disciplines across the 10 categories defined by the Ministry of Education.
